The centres have over 100 state-of-the-art professional testing equipment and a group of professional qualified inspection engineers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To provide the latest market intelligence on high-risk or counterfeit parts, Briocean QA Centre has consolidated a report comprising of the intercepted parts from the Tier 1 and Tier 2 inspections. This report covers the month of July 2024 and subsequent reports will be published monthly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tier 1 Inspection Intercepted Parts List<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Tier 1 inspection refers to the first verification process of checking the labels and packaging by comparing the shipment labels with the original label in the Briocean label database.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

90% of counterfeit parts can be intercepted with this inspection process.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n

Tier 2 Inspection Intercepted Parts List<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Tier 2 inspection refers to visual and marking inspection using the LEICA microscope with a magnification of up to 160x. This helps to inspect the interior and exterior sides of the component on its dimensions, scratches, polishing, breakage, or oxidation on the BGA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Visual and <\/strong><\/em>marking<\/strong><\/em> inspections are the most effective methods of intercepting counterfeit parts, with a 100% interception rate.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n
